Monitoring of liquid level and pressure of hospital oxygen station storage tanks and comprehensive safety supervision

Integrated station control and dispatch solution for monitoring liquid level and pressure of hospital oxygen storage tank

The hospital oxygen station is the core facility for medical oxygen supply throughout the hospital. Daily operations require not only precise scheduling of medical gases but also comprehensive safety supervision. Due to site constraints within the hospital, on-site excavation for wiring is prohibited, making traditional wired tank level monitoring solutions unfeasible. Additionally, there are issues such as single-function monitoring and warning, lack of real-time data to support scheduling, and difficulties in centralised control in the duty room. To address these operational requirements, our company has implemented a complete solution with DST8851 differential pressure compound level transmitters, LoRa wireless gateways, RS485 communication, dual-end audible and visual alarms, and an integrated station control system. This solution requires no on-site wiring modifications and is compatible with the hospital's existing environment. It uses DST8851 differential pressure transmitters to collect real-time tank level and pressure data from the oxygen station. The devices come with local audible and visual alarms, enabling immediate response to abnormal on-site conditions. The system supports dual wireless transmission modes (4G and LoRa) combined with an RS485 gateway for stable networking, uploading level and pressure data in real-time to the integrated station control system in the duty room. The system is equipped with remote audible and visual alarms, forming a dual protection system with local on-site warnings and remote duty room alarms, achieving comprehensive safety monitoring coverage for both indoor and outdoor areas of the oxygen station. Additionally, the station control system can centrally summarise and analyse the monitoring data, and logging into the Dingli Cloud platform via a computer or mobile app allows real-time viewing of tank levels and pressures, providing accurate data support for rational medical gas scheduling and refined daily operations within the hospital.
